i am lost in you
yup, yesterday was a nice day spent with john. well, made our way to east coast at around 5pm cause we wanted to try the famous prawn mee there. but once again, it was closed. it was so disappointing cause i really wanted to try it and this is like the second time we went all the way there by cab and it wasn't open. :( cab fares are really expensive you know? so, to make it all worthwhile, or so we think it did, we made our way to parkway parade instead for some swensens :) ordered some sides. note : the cheese sticks there sucks. it totally ruined my taste buds for cheese sticks altogether. it was like made of cheesedale cheese and it tasted totally wrong with the batter. yucks! the calamari was damn oily and well, the US fries was probably the only dish that tasted delicious ( as always) :p . right on, after that walked around awhile and then left for suntec at around 6 plus/7? yea.somewhere there. bought some pie for my mom at suntec. its funny how i like to buy pies and all these kinda english snacks for my mom but not like to eat any of it myself. lol. amusing indeed, to me at least. hah! walked all the way from suntec to the stretch/ bridge leading to the merlion park hoping to find a good spot to watch the fireworks. although we were really REALLY(like 2 hrs) early for the show, the place was like filled to the brim. the crowd was damn annoying. lol.. don't blame me, i just hate crowded places,i need my space( yes i'm fat), i WANT my space. its annoying when people walk shoulder to shoulder with you, its like you can hardly move. yes i whine alot about these things but i can't help it if there are inconsiderate people who lie in the middle of nowhere.its like they take up alot of space intentionally and take their own sweet time to unwind from their sleep and to eat. its the exact behaviour of pigs i tell you! hmph! so when our "family of the day" decided to get off their arses to allow more room for others(note:2 hrs later), john and i managed to squeeze our way in to get a rather decent spot :) fireworks was late and lasted for about 15 minutes. same as every other year. left for home after that and i guess thats it:) was really tired.
had to wake up early for school today . like 6 in the morning! had a 3 hour lecture that was rather interesting. hmmm, come to think of it, i really do enjoy my saturday lectures. :) time passes really quickly when you're having fun :) lol! i'm weird sometimes. went to give tuition after that for 2 hours and then its rest time for safy!!! :P lol.. yes yes, rest time for me. nights ya'll!
oh yes, before i forget, i got a pretty meaningful quote for today. got it from some show i was watching earlier...

well, it makes perfect sense to me :) kinda trying that and hopefully i'll succeed someday :)
